This Online Session, Zoom and Telehealth Consent explains the terms that apply when you choose to participate in a CallmoraGalle session by Zoom or another approved online video, audio, or communication platform.

By booking, joining, or continuing with an online CallmoraGalle session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this consent document, our Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Purpose and Scope of Online Sessions

CallmoraGalle may provide sessions online using Zoom or another approved communication platform. Online sessions may include video, audio, chat, email, or another agreed method of communication.

CallmoraGalle online sessions may include:

  • Guided meditation and mindfulness practice.
  • General wellbeing support.
  • Guided reflection and personal-development conversations.
  • General communication and self-care strategies.
  • Family communication meetings.
  • Relationship or family wellbeing discussions.

CallmoraGalle services are non-clinical and wellbeing-focused. They are not medical care, psychological assessment, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, clinical counselling, diagnosis, treatment for mental-health conditions, crisis intervention, or emergency services.

2. Voluntary Consent

Your participation in an online session is voluntary. You may ask questions before the session begins and may choose not to proceed with an online session if you do not feel comfortable with this format.

You may withdraw your consent to participate in an online session at any time. If you withdraw consent after a booked session has started, the Refund and Cancellation Policy may still apply.

You may ask whether an in-person session, rescheduling, another communication method, or referral to another appropriate service is available. Availability is not guaranteed.

3. Possible Benefits and Limitations

Online sessions may be convenient because they allow you to participate from your chosen location and may reduce travel time.

However, online sessions have limitations compared with meeting in person. These limitations may include:

  • Internet, device, software, audio, video, or platform failures.
  • Reduced ability to observe non-verbal communication.
  • Difficulty confirming privacy in your location.
  • Risk that another person may hear, see, interrupt, record, or access part of the session.
  • Delays, interruptions, poor audio or video quality, or loss of connection.
  • Difficulty responding to an urgent safety concern because CallmoraGalle is not physically present with you.
  • Differences in local emergency services, laws, privacy rules, and available support depending on where you are located.

You understand that CallmoraGalle cannot guarantee that online communication will be completely private, secure, uninterrupted, or free from technical problems.

4. Not an Emergency or Crisis Service

CallmoraGalle online sessions are not appropriate for emergencies, immediate crisis situations, or circumstances involving a serious risk of harm to you or another person.

Do not use Zoom, email, online booking, text messages, or the CallmoraGalle website to seek urgent help.

If you are in immediate danger, are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, believe another person may be at risk of harm, or require urgent medical or mental-health assistance, call emergency services immediately.

If you are in Australia, call 000 in an emergency. For crisis support, you may contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.

If you are outside Australia, contact your local emergency number, crisis service, hospital, doctor, or qualified local professional.

5. Your Location and Emergency Contact

Before, or at the beginning of, an online session, CallmoraGalle may ask you to confirm your current physical location and provide an emergency contact person.

You agree to provide accurate and current information about:

  • Your full name.
  • Your current physical address or location at the time of the online session.
  • Your telephone number.
  • The name and contact details of an emergency contact person.
  • Your local emergency number if you are outside Australia.

You understand that CallmoraGalle may contact emergency services or your emergency contact if we reasonably believe there is a serious and immediate risk to your life, health, safety, or the safety of another person, or where disclosure is otherwise required or permitted by law.

CallmoraGalle cannot guarantee that emergency services, police, hospitals, crisis lines, or emergency contacts will be available, respond, or provide a particular outcome.

6. Privacy and Your Environment

You are responsible for choosing a private and appropriate location for your online session. Where possible, you should join from a quiet, private space where other people cannot hear the conversation or see your screen.

Before the session begins, please:

  • Use a private room where possible.
  • Use headphones or earphones if appropriate.
  • Close doors, windows, and applications that may expose personal information.
  • Tell CallmoraGalle if another person is in the room or may be able to hear or see the session.
  • Do not join from a public place, workplace, vehicle, shared living space, or other location where privacy cannot reasonably be maintained.
  • Avoid using public Wi-Fi or unsecured shared devices where possible.

You understand that CallmoraGalle cannot control your physical environment or guarantee that other people will not overhear, interrupt, or access your session.

7. Other Participants and Support Persons

No other person may attend, observe, listen to, or participate in your online session unless this has been disclosed to and agreed with CallmoraGalle before or at the beginning of the session.

If another person is present, you must tell CallmoraGalle their full name, relationship to you, and reason for being present.

CallmoraGalle may decide not to continue a session if another person is present without notice, if privacy cannot be reasonably maintained, or if the presence of another person makes the session unsafe or unsuitable.

For family communication meetings, all participants must be identified and agree to the applicable Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and this Online Session Consent.

8. Technology Requirements and Technical Problems

To participate in an online session, you will usually need a suitable device, a working camera and microphone where video is used, a stable internet connection, and access to Zoom or another agreed platform.

You are responsible for:

  • Checking that your device, camera, microphone, speakers, headphones, software, and internet connection work before the scheduled start time.
  • Using the correct meeting link, password, and account details where applicable.
  • Keeping your device and internet connection reasonably secure.
  • Having access to a telephone or alternative contact method in case video communication fails.
  • Contacting CallmoraGalle promptly if you cannot join the session.

If the video connection fails, CallmoraGalle may attempt to reconnect through Zoom, telephone, email, or another agreed contact method.

If a technical problem on CallmoraGalle’s side prevents the session from being provided, we will use reasonable efforts to reconnect, continue through another agreed method, reschedule the affected portion, or provide an appropriate credit or refund in accordance with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

If a technical problem is caused by your device, internet connection, software, environment, or failure to join the meeting, the appointment may be treated as a missed appointment or late cancellation under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

9. Zoom, Third-Party Platforms, and Data

CallmoraGalle may use Zoom or another third-party online communications platform to provide online sessions.

When you use a third-party platform, that provider may collect and process information such as your name, email address, IP address, device information, meeting metadata, audio, video, chat messages, and technical logs under its own privacy policy and terms.

You understand that third-party providers may store or process information in Australia or in other countries. Overseas privacy laws may differ from Australian privacy laws.

CallmoraGalle does not record online sessions by default.

CallmoraGalle will not audio-record, video-record, transcribe, screen-capture, photograph, or otherwise record a session unless all participants have been clearly informed and have provided prior consent.

You must not audio-record, video-record, transcribe, screen-capture, photograph, livestream, download, distribute, publish, or share any part of an online session without the prior written permission of CallmoraGalle and the express consent of every person participating in the session.

If a recording is approved, CallmoraGalle will explain the purpose of the recording, how it will be stored, who may access it, how long it will be kept, and how you may withdraw consent where applicable.

Every participant is expected to respect the privacy of others and must not record, share, publish, or use information from the meeting in a harmful, threatening, abusive, or unlawful way.

CallmoraGalle may pause, end, reschedule, or decline to continue a family communication meeting if any participant behaves in a threatening, abusive, intimidating, discriminatory, coercive, unsafe, or disruptive manner.
